I have been a practicing Oncologist since 1985. I find oncology patients to be the kindest most appreciative patients in the world. The ever-changing space of oncology is the most exciting in the field of medicine. We can control pain and nausea a thousand times better than we did in the past—with today’s level of care, no patient should die in pain. At Hematology/Oncology Clinic, we strive to keep our patients functional and active in society for as long as possible. Our goal is to maintain hope, optimism and caring for all those we care for. My greatest joy in life is caring for my patients and spending time with my grandson, Emmett. In my spare time I enjoy building church birdhouses, gardening and playing tennis.
