Michael J. Castine, III, MD

A New Orleans native, Dr. Castine moved to Baton Rouge in 1999. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and his post-graduate training from the Comprehensive Cancer Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He is Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. His practice centers around the treatment of all cancer diagnoses, as well as, the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the blood such as anemias and clotting disorders.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Castine has volunteered time in the community as the president of the Louisiana Oncology Society. He also serves on various local hospital committees and is a member of several local social and charitable organizations. He is married with three children and enjoys traveling with his family. Most of his hobbies center around his family with travel and sports including fishing, skiing, soccer and hunting.

It started out rough, not getting a returned call but they have totally revamped or something because they have been quick in responding .
